Economic indicators

The Institute builds its long-term sustainable development in the areas of electrical power engineering and clean transport on: R&D services, competent laboratories, competitive advanced IT solutions and smart sensors.
In the last ten years the Institute invested in the equipment and investment maintenance 8.2 percent of its total revenue, for its own R&D 7.8 percent of sales, and for additional trainings 6.6 percent net earnings, of which 1/3 was spent on doctoral and specialist studies, 1/3 on conferences, and the rest on fairs, courses in foreign languages and purchase of literature.

In the upcoming period it is planned to increase the investments in further purchase of the equipment within the refurbishment of the existing infrastructure and the construction of the new one. That will increase the Institute’s competences and expand the range of applied R&D in electric power systems and transport.
